The ring is GORGEOUS!!!

I just got back into the office after flying back from Seattle last night, but I wanted to send you an email. DANA PROPOSED!!! And the ring is GORGEOUS!!! And I owe it to YOU!!! Here''s the crazy story: Well, at the last minute I decided to fly up to Seattle for my niece''s one-year birthday party over the weekend. So I kind of threw a ringer into Dana''s plans, as he told me later that he had been planning a picnic thing for Saturday. I tell you, I''m always screwing him up somehow... So at the last minute, we wound up going to dinner Friday night. I was a little frustrated, as I still needed to pack for Seattle. I really thought I knew Dana and didn''t think he''d propose that soon. He''s very methodical and I figured he would plan it when he was ready. He had also been mentioning to me about going to Vegas over the long weekend, so I had it in my mind that he would do it then. Denise, even though I was involved in all the selection and coordination for this ring, it still caught me off guard when he asked me and it truly was a touching moment that I will NEVER forget. After we ate our dinner, we were talking and all of a sudden he goes to my side of the table. He starts to kneel, and I have to say, my first reaction was, NO. I tried to get him off the floor because people started staring and I HATE attention. It was slightly comical. I said, Dana PLEASE get off the floor! If you''re going to ask me, can you just whisper it to me?! He attention too, but for some reason he didn''t stop. He said the most beautiful things about our relationship and our future, and by the time he opened the box, I swear, I don''t believe I was breathing at that point. I absolutely LOVE the ring. It IS BEAUTIFUL! I can''t stop looking at it. Thank you so much for all your assistance in selecting this gorgeous diamond. You were so wonderful and patient, looking for the perfect stone that met my insane, possibly unrealistic requirements given my limited budget. BUT YOU DID IT!!!! And on top of that, you made it fun. You''re a great person and VERY good at what you do. You fulfilled every requirement that I had for the stone. I truly enjoyed building a rapport with you, our conversations and emails, although were always sprinkled with humor. Needless to say, Sally did a little too much celebrating on Friday night. It was such a surreal moment. After dinner, we went to one of our favorite places, an Italian restaurant/piano bar, and listened to live jazz music. I wound up waking up too late, missed my first flight out to Seattle and had to catch the next one. You can only imagine the look on the flight attendant''s face when I came racing up to her, trying to get on the flight. She probably could smell the champagne on my breath! My parents and sisters in Seattle were blown away by the diamond. My dad said, WOW! That''s some rock you got there! Although he also said an even better surprise would have been if I came back and said I had already gotten married. Ha! Denise, both my bros in law were asking about details and how Dana selected such a beautiful stone. I said one word, WHITEFLASH. I told them, any diamond earrings or anniversary rings in the future for my sisters? You''ll do yourself a favor by going through Whiteflash. That is FOR SURE! Anyway, I absolutely love this diamond. My sister has a G color round and I would say mine is right up there with hers. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Sorry this was so lengthy.
