Smooth transaction for first time Canadian buyer
I want to Thank Liza and the whole team at Whiteflash for treating this first time online buyer very well.
I had a stone and setting in mind before I had contacted Whiteflash. I initially used the online chat option to contact Whiteflash. The first person I chatted with was Chris, he was able to answer a few questions I had about the stones I was deciding between. Liza continued to assist me through completing my order.
The first step I needed to take was completing a few forms to use my credit card for my purchase. They helped me through this process and I informed my credit card company of the upcoming transaction.
Once Whiteflash received my completed forms, my order became finalized and the stone was sent to Vatche for setting right away! (So quickly that I did not get a chance to request loose stone photos of my stone, but I'm fairly confident they would have taken a few photos for me had I told them sooner).
I put my initial order through May the 27th, sent my forms to them on the 28th and that's when the stone was sent for setting.
I was notified that my ring was complete and being sent to on June the 7th. Between initial order and final shipping the whole Whiteflash team was available for questions and notifying me via e-mail what was happening.
The FedEx shipping was extremely quick! I was notified that the shipment had arrived in my city (Edmonton) the morning of the 8th! FedEx contacted me directly to fill customs clearance forms for them to act on my behalf. (Filled out and faxed it back)
They charged my credit card only GST for the value of my engagement ring (no brokerage fees!). and it was in my hands on the 9th.
And I'm currently still working with Liza on finding me a matching wedding band for the beautiful Swan by Vatche Solitaire I ordered.
