I wanted the day to be as perfect as my wife is to me. I don't remember feeling as much pressure as I felt the days leading up to her special birthday since I asked her to marry me. Unfortunately, I did have Angels like you and Brittany to help me with that purchase but we'll fix that in the future. We started singing happy birthday to her when I stopped everyone and said, oh I forgot to get something sparkly for the cake- she told me not to worry about it and that's when I pull out the box of earrings, open it up and put it on the table next to the cake.
