Whiteflash Made My Dreams Come True
I know that I haven''t spoken with you yet. My name is Meaga and I am Drew''s fiance now! I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for your help in making my dreams come true. Also, thank you very much for your help today. I thought you might want to hear the story of the proposal. Drew was very tricky...He told me a few days prior to the proposal that there was a raffle at work. The winner was to receive a gift certificate to a very nice restaurant in town. As we are kind of strapped at the moment (we both are recent graduates for the 2nd time around), this would be our only chance to eat at such a nice place. Also, I should tell you that we both love food! Anyway, I was sitting at the computer on Friday evening trying to find a house in Salt Lake City (we are moving there from West Virginia in 2 weeks). He told me to get ready for dinner, because he had won the raffle and we had dinner reservations. He had a gift certificate that he had gone and purchased to make it seem more believable. He was very sly, which is unusual for him! We had a lovely dinner. He faked feeling ill so that I would drive home and be the first one in the door to our apartment. While we were at dinner, he had his brother put a dozen roses on the kitchen table with a note that said simply, ""Will you marry me?"". I turned around in complete shock, Drew got down on one knee and tearfully asked me the big question. I still cannot believe it was real. My head was spinning.
Then I saw the ring, and heard about his journey to find the perfect diamond. I am so proud of all of the love that went into his planning. With your help, he succeeded in finding the perfect diamond! I love my ring. My hand feels empty without it.
Again, I really appreciate all of your help, and am truly thankful for your part in our engagement.
