The Diamond is 10 Times Better Than I Ever Expected

As you know, I got the ring back in May....and I was amazed at the beauty of it. I was so excited to receive it. The diamond is 10 times better than I ever expected and I take my hat off to Mark Morrell for the workmanship that has gone into the ring. Then of course came the engagement. I decided some time ago to take Ruth to London to propose to her as a surprise. I actually only told her that we were going to London about 5 days before we left. Luckily it was her birthday the same weekend that we were due to be in London, so it didn''t look too obvious as to why I was whipping her down to London. We flew to London on the Friday morning and had checked into our hotel by lunch time. After going for a work around some of the tourist sites we headed back to the hotel to get ready for heading out for dinner. I had booked Gordon Ramsay''s restaurant for dinner, so we had to get our ''glad rags'' on. Just before we left the room to head for our taxi, and with Ruth looking amazing, I told her that she needed one last thing to make her look even more amazing - at which point I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me! and the rest of course.......they say........is history!! She said yes obviously! She absolutely loves the ring. She can''t take her eyes off of it and was dying to get home to show her family and friends. It sparkles so much that she has nicknamed it ""Sparko"". Now the fun really begins......wedding preparations. Thank you very much for the most amazing ring ever and for your service.
