Dear Mr. Hoskins:
As you are probably aware the ring shipped Friday for over-night delivery, in Moline, on Saturday morning. Needless to say, Friday evening, anticipation ran high at my house, that is, until I heard the ice on my windows accompanied by falling snow. Although the ring made it to Iowa, it ended up in Des Moines and, due to icy roads, did not make it to Moline next day, so consequently, we could not pick it up until this morning.
It is now on my finger, and just in case you did not see it before shipment, I must tell you that it is simply spectacular. The center diamond is so clear that it almost looks like ""liquid fire"" and the platinum setting with the hand engraving is gorgeous, while not looking ostentatious. Each of the small diamonds on the band have a life of their own, and add additional brilliance without taking away from the larger, center diamond.
At first, I was a little apprehensive about buying a diamond ring on-line. However, your professionalism and personal attention in helping educate me to have a better understanding of diamonds, settings, etc., soon set me at ease. Therefore, I want to express my heartfelt, appreciation to you, for working with me and helping me with this ""once-in-a-lifetime"" purchase. Also, please express my gratitude to everyone involved in creating this masterpiece, from beginning to end! It truly is a timeless treasure that will be enjoyed by me, my children and grandchildren for generations to come.
If you ever decide to visit Iowa (don't do it in the winter), I would consider it a privilege if you came to Muscatine and let us take you out to lunch.
