Visual Perfection
I want to thank you so much for your help in purchasing the 1.15ct SI1 stone.
Realistically to begin my whole diamond search I was skeptical that anything bought off the internet would be of high value. I reasonably expected a good stone and I was definitely concerned about returning anything I didn''t like. I visited many B&M stores and was usually comfortable with the stones they showed... not always great but usually good enough to impress my untrained eyes. However they almost always never had anything (sarin, etc) to back up their claims of ''ideal'' cuts or ''best'' cuts. I''m sure some of these stones were but not being an expert I needed something more I could trust. I must say your website and speaking with you both on the phone gave me a reasonable amount of confidence in your product. Specifically having available the Sarin, Idealscope and 40x pictures of the stone made the purchase much more palitable to me.
That was all before I saw the diamond yesterday....
It is absolutely STUNNING! I was amazed at how beautiful it was once I took it from the packaging. Like I said I''ve been to many stores in the Boston Jewelery District and only found a few that jumped out at me like this stone did. Of course NONE had the price to match yours! It was truly eye-clean, as you stated many times, and sparkled a lot in the office. In sunlight it gleamed and sparkled so much it was hard to actually inspect the thing! So needless to say I was very excited when I saw this!!
Beacuse I truly wanted to be sure of what I had, I previously arranged for a loose stone appraisal to occur after recieving the stone. I went to Martin Haske because of his reputation on the Pricescope website. Quite simply he was stunned. Without looking at any of your paperwork or the GIA cert. he confirmed each of the GIA specs with only slight discrepancies (he felt the girdle at first appeared thin to med. not v. thin to s. thick and the polish seemed excellent to him not v. good). He was convinced it was cut by someone who used to cut Eightstar diamonds and was at least a branded H&A. When I told him that it was simply a Whiteflash Ideal cut he was very impressed and immediately wanted to know who cut the stone. To him this was on slight step away from an Eightstar (in fact he mentioned the similarities to Eightstar about 10 times, he consults for them) and probably because of a slight flaw never recieved a H&A tag... so he proclaimed this one of the best non branded diamonds he''s seen in quite a while.
Being already impressed with the visual aspect of the stone I was even more happy when I heard all he had to say. I am so impressed with the quality and pricing of this stone. Needless to say I have no thoughts of returning it!
Again I want to thank you both for your help and also I''d like to pass on the good comments from Martin to you and the stone cutter. FABULOUS JOB!
Best Regards & Thanks,
