On the Right Track
Well we went on our trip and turned out very romantic. I set the dinner with a beach view at sunset?ˆ¦etc. Actually it didn?ˆ™t happen on the trip instead we were having bad luck with some stuff on the trip although it was fun and I was ready it just didn?ˆ™t feel right.
I waited until we came back home and on her Birthday I asked her. I had surprised her with a gag gift and she had no idea (Roomba) what?ˆ™s more romantic than getting an automated vacuum? I thought the same thing and by the look of her face I knew that I was on the right track
I decided to make a Patio dinner and found some icicle lights to illuminate the dinner and candles. I layered the entire patio with rose petals and lit a path extending from the door through the house to the patio with petals and tea candles. I created a playlist of our favorite songs to set the mood. (I wanted to control as much variable as I could to be spectacular) and created a wine bottle with my personal label of us (photoshop) on the bottom of the bottle where typically the year and name of wine is, I asked the question ?ˆ?Will you marry me?ˆ? ! On the back label I wrote ?ˆ?Once upon a time a boy met a girl?ˆ¦.?ˆ? I served dinner and by the time desert was coming out I played Foo Fighters ?ˆ“ Everlong and went inside to grab the bottle. As I walked out I told her that I had another gift and that the roomba was only 1 out of 2.
I expressed my feelings and took the bottle and showed her the second gift (still concealing the bottom question I told her that I had this made and I wanted this to be the real gift and as she took a gulp of wine I kneeled and showed her and asked her to marry me. It took her a while to answer because she had just taken a mouth full of wine and had no room to respond. But eventually she got up and said yes. I told her to open the bottle because I had concealed the ring on top of the bottle in between the cork and foil wrap.
